The Jitney service gives a senior citizen discount, so we bought the package of 10. The Jitney is only 75 cents a ride now. So we headed for the Outlet stores, just off the Boardwalk. John was immediately attracted to the sign below.
It is like watching bugs attracted to the light. He bought a new light weight raincoat for days when he doesn't need his big yellow raincoat. That took a while and when we were done we checked out and went to a local fish market, Barbera's, for lunch. We both had scallops, mine were broiled and John's were fried. Both were excellent. Then we went back to Bass Pro. John got one of their logo white T shirts and a new wicking T shirt. It was still raining so we walked back to Pacific Avenue and hopped on the Jitney back to the Marina.
After we got settled, we decided that we didn't feel like dinner but dessert. So we went into the casino for dessert. We played another $10 on the slots. A voucher for 40 cents is what we have left. Apparently, I am not lucky at the slots. But we had a good time trying.
